Board Officers

Dominique George, CPA, CFE, MBA

Ernst & Young LLP

Chair

Dominique George (nee Drake) is the Americas Assurance Learning Deployment Leader for Ernst & Young LLP dedicated to facilitating the “ah-ha” moment for nearly 14k employees under her purview. She assumed this role in December 2021 after developing and leading consulting projects for over 13 years in EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services practice. 
  • In addition to serving clients, Dominique invests heavily in the development of her colleagues. She has served on regional and national Steering Committees and Councils tasked with increasing awareness of DE&I and promoting a sense of belonging across EY’s offices and teams.

    Beyond her work at EY, Dominique is active in her community with a keen interest on introducing opportunities to underprivileged groups. She is a Board Member for two non-profit organizations and regular volunteer at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

    Dominique holds active memberships and affiliations with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Black Accountants, National Black MBA Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Inc.

    Dominique is a three-time graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

    Dominique is married to Weldon George and they live in Arlington (Dallas), Texas.

Patricia Camargo Bowles

Newmark - Commercial Real Estate

Vice Chair

Patricia Camargo Bowles joined Newmark in 2021 and serves as an Associate in the North Dallas office. She works with JR Tomlinson, Managing Director at Newmark, who has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience. Together, JR, Patricia, and the team are equipped to apply their expertise to corporate relocation, consolidation, acquisition, disposition, integration, build-to-suit locations, financial analysis, strategic planning and evaluation of portfolios for corporate growth and profitability.
  • Prior to joining Newmark, Patricia worked over 20 years with three other commercial real estate companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in specialized industrial, office, retail, and medical negotiations, and she has represented and consulted for both owners and tenants. Additionally, Patricia has extensive experience in corporate cash management and foreign exchange in the Dallas banking sector. She has also served the past four years as a Board of Director member and volunteer teacher for non-profit group Aspire (formerly Aberg), a Dallas literacy group.

    Patricia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Southern Methodist University.

    Patricia is originally from Bogotá, Colombia and speaks Spanish, English, French and is studying Italian as well.

Edward Stone

Marketing Executive (Retired)

Edward Stone is a native Houstonian and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating UT, he worked for a large wholesale grocer for five years doing a variety of management tasks. Among those tasks was the development of a program exporting groceries from Houston to retail grocery stores, U.S. embassy commissaries, and oil company commissaries around the world.
  • Pursuing an interest in international business, he joined Procter & Gamble International and was assigned to the Procter & Gamble Company of Canada, Ltd. in Toronto. Following basic P&G marketing and sales training he was engaged in product management in the Canadian Packaged Soaps and Detergents Division. Following the divestiture of Clorox from P&G, Stone joined Clorox in Oakland, California, where he was responsible for national product marketing for Liquid Plumr’ Drain Opener and he was given the assignment of creating a Clorox Company of Canada.

    After five years with Clorox in Oakland, Boston and Toronto as Advertising Manager and General Manager of the Canadian company, he joined Frito-Lay in Dallas with responsibility for national marketing of Lay’s Potato Chips and Rold Gold Pretzels.

    In 1976 he founded The Dallas Marketing Group, a full-service marketing consulting and market research firm which continues to this day with a broad base of Fortune 500 clients across a wide variety of industries.

    Since his retirement in 2006, Stone has been engaged in multiple community and non-profit pro-bono and Board services including Richardson Symphony, Dallas Theater Center, Dallas Furniture Bank, Dallas Children’s Theater, Executives in Action, Dallas Zoo, UT Southwestern Medical School Hospitals, Temple Emanu-El, and has been a member of the Aspire board since 2016. In addition to community service, he currently serves on the boards of two national companies and is a board member of SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives) and Preservation Dallas. He recently served as a Commissioner on the City of Dallas Historic Preservation and Landmark Commission.

Kevin Meeks

Truist Bank

Treasurer

Kevin Meeks leads the Truist Bank commercial real estate and homebuilder groups in North Texas.  Kevin joined Truist in 2009 to build a commercial real estate team in North Texas as BB&T (now Truist) began to establish its presence in the market.  He has worked in both the national and local markets, but has spent the majority of his career in North Texas.  
Kevin came to Truist, from Southwest Securities FSB where he served as senior vice president.  Kevin began his career at InterFirst (formerly First National Bank in Dallas), and has assembled commercial real estate teams for both Wells Fargo and KeyBank.
  • For the past 40 years, Kevin has provided banking services to local, national and public real estate firms, and a diverse group of projects including single and multitenant office, multifamily, industrial, hotel and retail centers.

    Kevin is a member of the Real Estate Council-Dallas and serves on the Board of the SMU/Cox Folsom Institute for Real Estate and has previously served on both The PwC SMU Athletic Forum and the North Texas Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Boards. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts (Finance) and a Master of Business Administration.
